Featured Video: Pumpkin Lighting

In celebration of Halloween, we’re sharing a lighthearted moment from our video archives: a 7-year-old boy named Josh, who lives with Angelman syndrome, enjoying the holiday with his family. Angelman syndrome is a rare neurodevelopmental disorder which causes severe cognitive and language impairment, a movement disorder, and often times seizures. 

In this short clip, Josh helps turn out the lights as his mom lights the family’s pumpkin, revealing a glowing jack-o’-lantern and big smiles all around - especially Josh, who is fascinated by the light.
