Yes! If you have a video that isn’t directly related to a prompt, but that you feel may be relevant to understanding your child’s rare disease, you can upload it to the last prompt in the “Observation Prompts” section: “MISC: Add any other relevant videos.”
Your video is still processing. Try refreshing the page in a few minutes. Longer videos will take a longer time to process. If over an hour passes and you still see this message, try uploading the video again.
Most likely your video upload was interrupted. Try uploading the video again, and make sure not to close the window until the upload is complete.
Once you upload a video to the DAYTool, it will be reviewed by our staff and research team. We will check for and remove any references to last names, phone numbers, addresses, or other potentially identifying information. Once it’s approved, your video will be added to the See System Rare Disorder Video Database. Your video may also be used in educational documentaries. The videos in the database will be viewed by clinicians, researchers, medical students, and other individuals with rare disorders around the world.
Yes, even before your videos are published on the See System Rare Disorder Video Database, you can share your videos directly with your doctor or anyone else you’d like to show them too by going to your Share page.
